![]() ![]() If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro (Switch) The hotel reserves the right to preauthorise credit cards prior to arrival. Bar service poor and dirty, lacked organisation. Room was small, no Tea or Coffee making facilaties. No haridryer, no tea/coffee facilites, not even a small fridge. There are no facilities in the room whatsoever. This is not a 4 star hotel as is referred to on the website. Where you had to hang clothes was a joke. room had no cupboard and therefore little hanging space, no clock, little bench space in bathroom for personal toiletries. didn't feel comfortable staying there upon being informed by the locals that there have been protests outside it due to the builders not being paid for its constrtuction. Very quiet out of season - no atmosphere. The food did let the hotel down but not the service staff. Room very stuffy, lack of air even with window left open fully!. Small Item, 4 Poster Bed to me it looked ugly and pointless. The changing rooms in the pool area could do with more attention. The safety aspect of the grab rail into Jacuzzi should be assessed. Very friendly atmosphere, staff and swiming pool. Friendliness of Staff, Good Food, Facilities at Spa. I liked the relaxed atmosphere and the tranquility of the hotel. The lobby is marble floored and relatively small, there is seating available and drinks can be served to you if needed.Leasure club food service all top class. #Apartment at the old watermarque hotel caherciveen windows#The bar is sat on the ground floor and is comfortable and well designed with lots of seating and large picture windows making it light and friendly - The staff obviously help as well! The hotel is newly built so the exterior is very clean and welcoming, there are 3 floors and the lobby and bar framed by large wooden windows with a green stain - very understated and sophisticated. Being that the hotel is a stones throw from the Atlantic Ocean the fish is particularly good as it is freshly sourced each day form the immediate area (In particular the Turbot was very good!!). There are a la carte and table d'hote menus to choose from and dishes are typically modern international cuisine. The hotel restaurant is located across the bar from the lobby and carries a nautical theme, it is fairly small with room for approx 50 diners so it is an intimate and calming experience to eat there. They are all equipped with flat screen televisions showing a number of satellite channels, tea and coffee making facilities and the beds are excellent and very comfortable. The Watermarque is a boutique hotel and the rooms are decorated in greys white and blues carpets with occasional flushes of colour in furniture and curtains. (06.08rt) All 51 rooms are medium in size and have on-suite facilities with bath and shower. ![]() As ever there is a gym and Spa using Elemis products but for the more adventurous the hotel can organise sightseeing trips by boat! The daily sightseeing and boat trips on a 42 foot (12.8m) high performance Rodman 1250 fly bridge cruiser on the Atlantic Explorer can take in the inshore areas around Caherciveen or out to the Skellig/Blasket Islands or for romantics there are the Atlantic Sunset or Stargazing tours. This is a fantastic hotel in a stunning location, but if that's not enough there are a range of extra facilities for you to enjoy. Rated 10 / 100 based on 1 customer reviews. ![]()
